Support School Music!

Several current and past Petaluma Community Band members are teachers who put an enormous amount of energy into directing school and college music programs.
Let's show our appreciation for teachers and students by supporting their efforts. Check these links for upcoming events and information on how you can be a band booster.

Nearby community bands and orchestras

There are many other fine and fun community music groups in Sonoma and Marin counties, and Petaluma Community Band members participate in these groups as well:

Corte Madera Town Band -- rehearses Thursday evenings
Healdsburg Community Band -- rehearses Tuesday evenings
Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District Non-Marching Band, affectionately known as the Sewer Band -- somewhere near San Rafael.
New Horizons Band of Sonoma County -- The program is targeted for people over 50. Meets in Santa Rosa.
Rohnert Park Community Band -- rehearsals in Rohnert Park on Monday nights
Sebastopol Community Band -- rehearses Sundays, 4 p.m.
Sonoma Hometown Band -- marches in the annual Fourth of July parade, and has been a full concert band since its expansion in 1987.
