• The band is now a class under the auspices of the Petaluma Adult School.
• There are no formal auditions, however participants should have played with high school and/or college bands and want to improve their musical abilities.
• There are no age restrictions.
• Participants should have their own instrument, however in a few cases instruments can be made available. Percussion equipment is provided.
• We ask that you commit to regular attendance at Monday night rehearsals, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
• An enthusiasm for playing music and contributing to the town band tradition is essential!

If you are interested in joining,

1. Call Jim Reynolds at (707) 769-9521 or email and get acquainted! (He needs to plan for a balance of instruments, seating, how many music folders to prepare, and your level of experience. If you'd just like to sit in and listen to a rehearsal before deciding, you will be encouraged.)
2. Register for Course "Petaluma Community Band" in the Petaluma Adult School. The fee is approximately $17 per semester.
